We would like to wish our members the very best of luck for the coming season.

Can we just remind people that tickets are not sold on the bank and that you must carry your permit with you at all times. It's in the car, I've forgotten it, or the dog has eaten it are not acceptable excuses and you will be asked to leave the fishery. Remember that anyone who decides not to pay for their fishing, which lets face it is incredibly cheap, is taking the mickey out of those who do pay and those of us who put in a lot of hard work to make the waters available

Update

Bank works have commenced in preparation for the new season with strimming almost completed at the Osiers and two thirds done at the eleven arches, why not take a walk and check out some swims, you may even spot a few chub and barbel

Two anglers were caught fishing the river today at the Osiers and were asked to leave. They should consider themselves lucky that no further action was taken  as given the opportunity we will involve the Environment Agency with regards to prosecution

Next season's ticket prices

The 2013/14 ticket prices are

Adult £36
OAP £15
Junior £10
Day ticket £5 (no concessionary rate)

A full winter permit is available from December the 1st for £15, no concessionary winter permits are available

Illegal close season fishing

Once again signs of illegal fishing have been found at the Osiers stretch today, our members are also our eyes and ears and if we are to keep on top of the situation we need information on any sightings please

AGM confirmation

We can now confirm that the AGM will be held at the Peacock Inn, off Moira st Loughborough, on Sunday the 28th at 10.30am, all are welcome to attend
