Pike fishing tuition event on the Soar at Sutton Bonnington

The Pike Anglers Club of Great Britain in association with the Angling Trust are holding three pike tuition days at Sutton Bonnington in January, details can be found here - Click here

Anyone attending all three sessions which cost only £3 per day will be given a Loughborough Soar AS winter permit free of charge which will enable them to fish the river until the end of the season and the canal until June the 15th

Surprise catch at Zouch canal

Neil Doyle recently caught this brown trout estimated at 3lb's from the canal at Zouch while lure fishing for pike, it's not often something like that turns up in the river let alone in the canal!
